I come from a long line of cemetery walkers on my Mother's side. I have very early memories of holding my Grannie's hand as we hiked between the gravestones and being lifted up to look in the mausoleums.

I know that must sound somewhat macabre, but it really wasn't. It was the history and the mystery of lives gone past that enthralled us.

My sister and I continue the tradition and recently visited Riverside Cemetery in Denver. She wrote about it here.

One of the mausoleums now lies vacant. I'm thinking it would make a perfect studio, but that's not weird, right?

Best Sister Ever

For my birthday, my sister got us tickets to the Eddie Izzard concert in Denver at the Paramount Theatre and . . . . IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!

Hopefully we didn't kill him with our heat wave. Though to be honest I didn't even see him break a sweat.

So thank you, thank you, thank you, little sister - best present EVER!!!!!
