Actually how I remember it, it was just the first place we came to at the waterfront because my gosh, we had to eat by the water, and then after suffering through it, we found like 5 more fish places we could have (and should have) eaten at just blocks away. I myself blame the Alaskan airline ;). But other than that and well maybe the 20 mile hike to the non-existent art supply store and then leaving the free zone, good trip, very good trip!
I'm sorry, but I had to snicker when I got to your last line -- how the Martin sisters got a bad fish dinner in Seattle ... GOOD writing!
