Children's Book Week

This is Children's Book Week. My parents were both teachers, so books were huge at our house. And books are huge at my house. Probably too huge . . . okay, I have a slight problem. But, hey, there's worse things to be addicted to.

Tattered Cover

While we were out and about Sunday, after taking care of our cereal and cupcake needs at The Shoppe, we headed over to the Tattered Cover on Colfax. After snagging some magazines, and a couple of graphic novels (Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchertt) we headed to the children's section and guess what we found?

Willow May!!!!

A Reading at Starbucks

If you happened to be in the area, come on down. The author is going to do the reading (in full cat costume). And I get to skip around in my witch's outfit. I'd like to streak my hair purple, but I haven't found any yet. I have one more place to look today. I'm very excited about the temporary tattoos - I made them on my inkjet and they turned out really cool.

Should be fun! Now it only the weather would get better . . .
